Evgenia Bodaar-Molotova Is Learning to Love Not Knowing

What has been the biggest change in your life over the past year?
“The biggest change has probably been becoming more comfortable with uncertainty. Whether in work or life, I’ve learned that not having all the answers immediately is often where the best opportunities and growth come from. Rather than trying to control every outcome, I’ve become more open to learning as things unfold and trusting the process.”

What’s one goal or intention you’re carrying into the second half of the year?
“My intention is to keep saying “yes” to conversations with people outside my usual circles. Some of the most valuable opportunities and perspectives have come from unexpected connections. It’s easy to stay within familiar networks, but I’ve found that real growth often comes from hearing different experiences, challenging my own assumptions, and staying curious.”

What’s one thing the Roots Inspire community has given you that you didn’t expect?
“A reminder that everyone is figuring things out as they go, no matter how accomplished they may seem. That’s something I didn’t expect to find so consistently, and it’s been both reassuring and inspiring. Seeing people openly share their challenges, lessons and ambitions has made the community feel genuine and has encouraged me to do the same.”

Our careers continue to be shaped by the experiences we have and the perspectives we encounter along the way. Sharing these reflections creates space to learn from one another – and perhaps see our own next steps from a different perspective.
