Event Overview:
Elevate: Emerging Executives marked its inaugural London cohort kick-off this June, a 10-month leadership programme delivered in partnership with Inclusion in Finance, the industry body for UK financial services: pensions, banking, insurance, and long-term savings.
The programme brings together senior ethnic professionals from across UK financial services, each nominated by their organisation and supported by an internal ExCo sponsor. Fifteen participants make up the inaugural 2026 cohort, working towards executive committee roles through career mentoring, sponsorship, executive coaching, and a series of in-person touchpoints over the next ten months.
What to Expect:
- Career mentoring from ethnic senior leaders with direct experience navigating the path to executive leadership
- Active sponsorship from an ExCo member within each participant’s own organisation, including a dedicated sponsor briefing
- Tailored workshops and unfiltered conversations with leadership mentors and peers
- Executive coaching sessions building on the career mentoring phase
- A series of in-person touchpoints across the programme, including a dinner in November 2026 and a closing event in April 2027
